Hello everyone,
just subscribed here after a series of posts of the Webmaster on the Warships1 message board.
While it is true that the Italian efforts in WWII are often disregarded in English language literature (but I must say that there are a lot of sources and people much more serious on historic matters that don't suffer of this oddity), the Italian efforts and results in WWI are even more ignored, to the point I suspect many think Italy was on the opposite side!
Italy in WWI gained a difficult, bloody and clean victory over a valuable enemy, and would deserve more attention; furthermore, the way the Entente powers limited the effects of this victory (and the peace conditions overall) put the seed for many of the evils that came a few years later.
Just my 0.02€, thanks for your attention.
