Thank you David.

Since I am new here,I have one question: I don't see in my profile the option to add a website or a signature. Does it come with a certain level of participation to the forum?
Cheers

I have both the options available on my profile, are you scrolling down to the very bottom of the profile page?

I will clarify this point with Jim, the Webmaster if you like?
Cheers; Dave.

basenordest.

The features had to be removed, because of the spammers who were bombarding this site. Sorry for any inconvenience.

David.

Well, sorry for being late in introducing myself, I never entered this section!

I'm here for some time now and really I cannot remember exactly how I came here, but the important thing is that I enjoy it a lot and I hope not being too much of a nuisance...

My name in RL is Luigi, I'm 38 and live in Rome now but grew up in Bolzano, near the Austrian Border (or better... amidst of it ;) ). I'm directly subordinated to the Hauptsturmannführer Oberbefehlsaber des Schachbrettes Mitte Süd (my wife) with an "army" of one wonderful daughter who is 5 years old. Of course, being our daughter already that old, the command and control chain is lenghtening: orders coming from my wife have to go now through my daughter :D
Since my younger years I was interested in airplanes of WWII and from there on I expanded on military history, also because we were often sent to Germany in summer in order to practice German language, so I often had discussions with the former ally and needed arguments :).
Being both lazy and absent-minded, however, I never reached the amazing in-depht knowledge many show here and all information I reteained along the years is like leaves in autumn hanging from a three: I'm fairly confident of its correctness but I can seldom recall where from I have it: so please never rely in what I say and if you can provide me with a confirmation or rebuttal I'm equally grateful :)

Other fields of interest are Motorbikes, Skiing and, more recently, horse riding.

Regards to all
