Published my first article on the site. Some steps were easy, a bit of a problem with others. In all, now that I know what I am doing, pretty simple. Chaim help a few times.

Issues: No underline key in the text tab. I had to use the htlm code to underline.

Points to know. If you write text while in the htlm tab, it doesn't keep your spaces between pargraphs. Need to insure text is written while in the text tab.

No place to up-load pdfs. While I feel the use of pdfs will be rare, in my case I will use them a lot for the translations. I also could fighure out the neat pdf pic you used. I appears to be part of the link. I wasn't able to have it in my new article (trying to keep standardized).

In all, I like the new capability.

Jeff,

Thanks for the update. Wordpress 3.0 is getting ready to come out which should offer some additional features. I'll keep a heads up on what some of them may be. Underlining option may be one of them. But yeah, the html tab helps for the areas not covered on the text input tab.

A few notes:
If you need something uploaded, just let me know. I can upload directly to the site via ftp and all you have to do is link it to the article afterward (I would send you the link)

If you want your articles to follow a certain order, adjust the publish date. I noticed your new article is the top one for the monte cervino section. If you want your introduction to the unit article to be the first article, just make your top article's publish date just a little older than the article you want on top. Let me know if I confused you with this.

The more you work with wordpress the easier it becomes. I'm sure that in 4-5 months people will start supplying regular articles to the site like a well oiled machine

Thanks for the tips, I will give them a try. I am a little leary of changing the dates to reorder the items. Kinda like messing with history. But I understand that is the only way to order items under a heading. Would be nice if WordPress could fix that.
