I created Comando Supremo: Italy at War in 2000 because of the the limited amount of information on Italian forces in WWII that was available online. Thanks to people like you, this site has grown to what it is today. Thank you for visiting and please bookmark the site!

I’m looking at a photo titled “102/35 Milmart gun on Lancia RO80. Photo Courtesy Attilio”

From what I have read about them, there were only a relative few 102/35 gun trucks, and these were all built on the Fiat 634 truck. The photos I’ve seen were of the pre-1937 model truck. It’s not easy to tell in this photo, but it’s more than likely a Fiat 634N “Gigante” rather than a Lancia.

The Lancia 3 RO was used for the more prevalent model gun truck utilizing the 90/53 gun. Here is a model of the vehicle in question.
