HMS Upholder was certainly not sunk by the torpedo-boat Pegaso as she was nowhere near the position of the attack on 14 April. The "submarine" was sighted by a CANT seaplane and later assessed to have been a dolphin. Upholder was probably lost on the "T" minefield off Tripoli.
