Hi Jeff, Unfortunately, I do not have the full plan. I have only a few memorandums and sketches from May. This particular one may be too large to upload. PM if you are interested. Regards Slawomir

    Battistelli's Mussolini's Army at War

The article in the "Bollettino..." lists the war diaries for each HQ or Division with signatures that may help you with the research in the archives. The few OOBs I have checked were... quite confusing.

    Combeforce

That would be great to see. Would you please share your findings? Artillery: Definitely, they were not staying all the time in one place. Maybe they started in the vicinity of Sidi Saleh, but at least one section joined B Sqdr KDG, together with two AT guns to support 2RB. Moreover, WD 3H...

Published diaries, letters and contemporary oral testomonies by Italian generals or admirals

    Combeforce

Don't have the 2RB WD so cannot confirm the location of the companies. A Coy appears in WD of 11H as taking over from 11H Agedabia midday 7 FEB, and there is my question mark. Would really Renton send A Coy if that was the company actually sitting on the road for two days in blocking position...

Sorry for jumping so late, but here is what I have. Those are norms for June 1940, as you see not that much different from numbers presented by Jeff. Best regards Slavomir

    Battle of Derna Jan 1941

I am using the 1:500K; of course, they are not perfect but printed in 1942, and I can trace the majority of the locations. In some of the WDs, they refer to 1:500K. I have attached an example. Going back to WD, let start with 1st RTR: Until Jan 15, the regiment was resting at Dhot el Charuba...

    Battle of Derna Jan 1941

Jan 22 - C Sqdr deployed two troops to the north of Mechili - no enemy movement reported. A Sqdr also deployed...

    Battle of Derna Jan 1941

Before we move forward, first, let me make few corrections: My typo: 7th Armd Div main body is supposed to start the movement on Jan 22, not as I have written on Jan 20 - sorry. 11th Hussars were equipped with Rolls Royce AC, Morris AC, and Guy AC. Marmon Herrington's were taken over in April. I...
