Dili

These are movement control units. They regulate traffic on the road network. They fall under the Stato Maggiore dell'Intendenza. See I servizi logistici delle unita italiane al fronte Russo Chapter VIII (page 125).

The following battaglioni movement stradale were mobilized by the cavalry depots during the war.

I - Cavalleggeri di Monferrato
II - Lancieri Vittorio Emanuele II
III - Lancieri di Firenze
IV - Nizza Cavalleria
VI - Savoia Cavalleria
VII - Vittorio Emanuele II
VIII - Cavalleggeri di Alessandria
XI - Genova Cavalleria (this could be IX, see below)
XII - Cavalleggeri di Alessandria

This information is from L'esercito e i suoi corpi, sul 2, tomo II, schema 9, p. 453. V, IX and X are missing from the list, and I don't have any info on those three units. The XI is listed twice (Nizza as well). The section on the Nizza Cavalleria lists the IV but not the XI (p. 460). The section on the Genova Cavalleria lists the XI (p. 477). I assume that XI for the Nizza is incorrect. Note that this is a guess as I have have enough information to make a definitive judgement.

From page p. 490 I can add:

XXVI - Lanceri di Aosta
