Afternoon all,
I have just finished reading the above book by Erminio Bagnasco.
As the cover suggests, it is a comprehensive account of the weapons used by Italy’s special naval forces during WW2. There are accounts of all the operations and is well supported with photographs and drawings.
A word of warning though. It is also a technical book which documents a detailed account of how weapons were conceived, produced and how they developed. Every thing is covered, from the Maiale to the equipment that the divers used such as watches, knives and breathing apparatus used. Nothing is missed.
I do recommend this book for anyone with a keen interest in the Regia Marina.
Regards,
Bob
