I see this gun had 90mm of armor penetration at 500 meters. Does anyone know when it received anti-tank ammunition?

I know they had anti-aircraft ammunition. But A/T?
According to Robert Denny's translation of Mario Montanari, on December 12, 1940, General Berti counted 48 of these guns available to the defense of Tobruk and Bardia, enough to knock out all 50 British Matilda tanks.

I don't know the 1940 doctrine of AA units and also their ammo supply in Dec 1940. Note that those guns were not fast to setup.

Since they didn't use them against the Matilda tanks, that speaks for their doctrine and ammunition in Dec 1940. That info would be very hard to find. BTW, the C. K. models were truck mounted. No need to set up. They had four in 10th Army in 1940.

CK was 75/27 an WW1 gun.

Note that the Italian had a very common round mod.32 that worked in most 75mm guns not sure in this one. Another point, the gun emplacements for AA it is possible not ideal for AT.

According to Cappelleno, the anti-tank ammo was introduced in 1942. Le artiglierie del Regio Esercito p.208.

None of my sources give the actual nomenclature of the round. They do state that it was a proietto perforante. Given the Italian practice, I assume it would be something like proietto perforante M42 da 75/46.
