Salve ho una vecchia tessera di mio nonno che è stato volontario nella seconda guerra mondiale, ma non riesco a trovare informazioni. Dove era la sede del suo raggruppamento, quale era lo stemma della sua compagnia e spero di trovarle qui. Allego la sua tessera

I have found some information, but need to check a few more things. This unit underwent several name changes so tracing its history isn't simple.

This was the 2nd Assault Legion of the Blackshirts, commanded by Consul Giovanni Rocca and consisting of the 1st and 2nd CCNN (Blackshirt) battalions from Turin and the 179th CCNN machine gun company from Reggio Emilia. Initially assigned to the Superga Division, in March 1942 the Legion was separated from the division, which was to be transformed into a landing division, and sent to Croazia. It fought against partisan bands, suffering numerous losses, while also being part of the 21st April CCNN Group, which was nothing more than a provisional unit gradually formed from various Blackshirt units without a fixed formation but rotating at random, coordinated by a small Blackshirt command. From the 2nd document appearing in the photo, however, it would appear that the 1st battalion of the 2nd Legion or at least its 2nd company had passed to the Germans in October 1943 (therefore after the armistice) and was under the control of the Fascist Militia of the Province of Ljubljana.

Mio nonno era della provincia di Roma il documento è sempre lo stesso . Il console comandante era Nicchiarelli, alla fine della Guerra mio nonno tornó a piedi fino qui a Roma con un altro paesano non se so fidati de salì su nessun treno, e qui trovarono un bambino jugoslavo al quale davano da mangiare e ospitalità lì a Lubiana nel loro campo

The fact that your grandfather was from Rome is not significant because even if the Legion came from Piedmont (headquarters) it was open to all volunteers and also included conscripts from other regions

From research conducted, the "21 Aprile" Group remained attached to the 11th Army Corps throughout its presence in the Balkan theater of war (late 1941–September 1943). More specifically, these are some of the dates found:

Quindi solo il fascio littorio ?
Su Wikipedia ho trovato questo dice che è stata sciolta nel 1939 ma a quanto pare mio nonno ne faceva parte nel 1943

Be careful not to confuse the 3rd 21st April Division of the Blackshirts with the 21st April Group of the same Blackshirts. The former was a division formed in 1939 and lost in Africa in 1940, while the latter was a Circumstance Group that, as already mentioned, fought with the 11th Army Corps in the Balkans from 1941 to 1943. As I mentioned in a previous post, the CCNN divisions had a specific motto and emblem, while the groupings and legions did not. Some legions were distinguished by battle names, but this is not the case with the 21st April Group or the 2nd Legion of which your grandfather was a member.
