Ok here's the first batch of his pictures. these are his portraits. I have pics of him in Libya which I will definitely scan and post here when I locate them. probably next week some time.

My apologies I found the matching patch at the Italian army website. and as Lupo pointed out its not a divisional patch.

Your great uncle Mariano, as already told by Barbarigo, was in the sanitary corps. The star on the hat and the color of his collar patches (correctly retouched in the black and white picture) are a sure sign of this.

Your grandfather was in artillery (just as Lupo told you in the other thread).
