Look, the Pariani reform is from 1939 ... the regimental staff as I have already written has changed a lot during the war (World War II) you have to be able to tell me which period you want to know about (beginning of the war, preparation for Malta, North Africa, Tunisia, Motherland etc etc) otherwise it takes a book to follow the various changes .....

The one posted by Andreas was not part of the regiment destined for Malta .... it was instead the 3rd San Marco battalion officially constituted on 10 November 1941, bringing together the Command and the Command company of the Bafile battalion, the 3rd rifle company also of the Bafile and the 4th machine-gun company of the Grado battalion (as well as an autonomous platoon initially located in Greece). At the time of its constitution the unit could count on a total staff of 536 men. The departure from Taranto for Benghazi took place on November 14th.
He will then move to AS to fight in that area until its destruction in Tunisia. In parallel, a new Bafile battalion will take shape within the San Marco regiment. This battalion was composed as follows (early campaign):
Comando Company with:
-Command
-anti-tank platoon (6x47 / 32 AT)
- anti-aircraft section (3x20mm AA)
3.a fusiliers company (former Bafile battalion) with:
-Command
-4 rifle platoons (each 3 submachine guns)
