unless you meant to right Sentire- Pensare- volere, which would mean To feel-To think- To want

I would say that Stefano is correct:
SENTIRE, in this case, means To Feel rather than To Hear (and not, I'd say, To Listen = ascoltare).
As strange as it might appear, in Italian, the two verbs To Feel and To Hear are rendered with exactly the same verb SENTIRE.
Best regards

OOPS!! My fault. The correct word is SENTIRE and the reason I am asking is this is the title of the Sergio Corbatti Marco Nava book on the Italian S.S. and I still am trying to understand what does the titles phrase SENTIRE-PENSARE-VOLERE have to do with the Italian S.S. as a whole, Ideas??
