@Brummbar: HAT/Waterloo has 1/32 North Afrika figures; Folgore at El Alamein. Really good stuff including AT.

@Barbarigo; an Italian company has a broad display of all 1/72 Italian vehicles... I thought it was called DOC.

Orlando, in Spain you can find BUM, wich makes a L3 for the Spanish Civil War.
Tamiya has the semaovente da 75 and the M13.

And there are a lot of vehicles, because in good shops you can find almost anithing, but you must go to a spezialiced shop.

Hello Paolino and Natxo:
Much thanks for your interestings replies.I make kits in 1/72 scale notwithstanding I have also Italian and British tanks in 1/35 scale;in 1/35 scale I have Fiat Ansaldo M13/40 (Italeri),Fiat Ansaldo 75/18 Semovente (Tamiya),Italian infantry 1/35 (Italeri) it is very old,it has six Italian soldiers some of them are Bersaglieris and I have also Italian paratroopers 1/35 Italeri.In 1/72 I have Fiat Ansaldo 75/18 Semovente of Esci,and I had Fiat Ansaldo M 13/40 of Esci but I converted it in Fiat Ansaldo M 11/39 for to put it in the invasion of the British Somaliland in August 1940 in the battle of Tug Argan Gap,and in scratch building I made Fiat 508 Autovettura Torpedo Militare.I like very much the Italian vehicles and tanks during the 2WW and 1920s and 1930s years.I have been a fanatic of the Italian Army in Spain.
I am going to build in 1/72 scale the Italian heavy truck Lancia 3 RO in scratch building,it is easy;the worst are the wheels,I am going to do in lead.It is a fantastic experience.
Paolino :D one great salute from Spain of your Spanish friend.Natxo ha sido un placer conocerte paisano.

Orlando.
Why would you go to the trouble of scratch building, when there are kits available in that scale?

___

Posted 25 May 2007 - 09:26 PM by Orlando Lorenzini

Hello David and salute from Spain:
The scratch building for some models as Lancia 3RO,Ceirano 50 CM,Fiat 626 NML and others models are in resine and they are very expensive,therefore I make scratch building;notwithstanding for to have a good model we must buy a kit in plastic or resine.
The scratch is only a one resource more but this resource isn´t only.
One salute from Spain:
Pedro

Why don´t you try with wargames models?
1/72 is the samethat 20mm miniatures. It´s slightly different because wargames miniatures usually are more chunky (regordetes) than the thin scale models.

15mm miniatures are equal to 1/100 and 10mm to 1/144.
There are a lot of miniatures for the italian army.

Sparviero]@Barbarigo; an Italian company has a broad display of all 1/72 Italian vehicles... I thought it was called DOC.[/quote]Their model are simply horrible, made by a bad resin and low detailed...in my opinion they are more useful for wargaming... if the price were lower..( the price is too high).Take note that the mouldings were designed more then 10 years ago... :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops:The Docs L3 in plastic are instead very good. 😉 [quote name= said:

I also have quite a comprehensive list now myself. Let me know if you want me to post it here.

David, Aymeryc posted a good list for the guns. If you want to put your list here, you're welcome.

Generally speaking, I can assure that for 1/72 scale the best kits that are now available are:

- Principe Nero (resin: L6/40, AB41, FIAT OCI, Breda 20mm, etc, etc);

- Brach Model (resin semovente da 149, semovente da 75/18 M42, Semovente da 75/34 M42, semovente da 105/25 M42 and M43, semovente da 75/46 M42 and M43);

- Italiankits (resin FIAT626, SPA 38R etc etc);

- Doc Models (plastic only L3/33 - L3/35);

- Mr Panzer (resin Lancia 1ZM, FIAT 18 BL, FIAT 15 ter, Semovente da 90/53, etc etc).

That's all.
As you can see, there aren't a lot of plastic kits (resin ones are more expensive): I speak about kits interesting for the modellers, not for wargaming, because the wargaming's ones are less detailed. At the momente the only plastic kit available on the market are: Italeri M13 and Semovente da 75/18 (old Esci kits), Doc Model's L3/33 and L3/35. Nothng else...

The others I've come across on the internet look a bit shabby.
