The title of this interesting article leaves open the question whether this one was the last Italian cavalry charge. In reality, the last one was the charge of Poloj, in Croatia, on 17 October 1942, by the 14th Regiment "Cavalleggeri di Alessandria" against Yugoslav partisans.

The charge of Izbushensky was portrayed in the movie "Carica eroica" of 1952, by the noted Italian war movies director, and true creator of neo-realist movies style, Francesco De Robertis. You can watch it here:
