I looked for this data everywhere, but apparently all the articles about him skip it.

Does anyone know the date and place of birth/death of Mario Bellagambi?

Dear JulioMoc,
according to researches of Ferdinando d'Amico, Mario Bellagambi was born in Florence on 14 September 1915 and died in the same city on 25 July 2001.

Air Vice-Marshal Mario Bellagambi 1915-2001 - as above. That is correct - born and died in Florence.
