Notes:
Graduated from the Royal Military Academy of Infantry and Cavalry in Modena. Arrested by the Germans on 22 September 1943 in Florence, and transported to Poland to Offizierlager 64/Z at Schokken where he arrived on 1 October. Due to the hardships he suffered, he was hospitalized at the Wollstein infirmary on 14 August 1944 and died on the night of 4 November 1944. He was buried in the Salka cemetery, near the small church and the woods adjacent to the camp.
