Graduated from the Royal Military Academy of Artillery and Engineering in Torino. Condemned to 20 years imprisonment on 24 December 1944 for misconduct of the defence of Naples. Released on 27 December 1945 after the Court of Appeal quashed the judgement and ordered his immediate release. Died of cancer.
